Acceptable Use Policy

The rules that apply to everyone using Insider Magazin and this website, including what the Service must not be used for and how we enforce them.

Last reviewed: pending legal review

01Introduction

This policy applies to customers and their authorised users of the Insider Magazin workspace and to visitors of this website. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Its purpose is to keep the Service lawful, secure and honest about what descriptive statistics can and cannot show.

Last updated: [Pending: Date of last legal review].

02Lawful use

  • Use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in line with the laws that apply to you, including data protection, consumer protection and advertising laws.
  • Do not use the Service to infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.

03Data you make available

  • Only connect or provide data that you have the right to use for analysis.
  • Do not provide personal data unless you have a valid legal basis to process it and have given any notices the law requires. Prefer aggregated or pseudonymised data where the analysis allows it.
  • Do not provide special categories of personal data (for example health data), or data relating to children, unless this has been expressly agreed in writing with us.
  • Do not include malicious code or content designed to disrupt the Service.

04Security and integrity of the Service

  • Do not copy, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the software, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits this despite a contractual restriction.
  • Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service or this website without our prior written permission. If you find a vulnerability, report it as described on the Security page.
  • Do not try to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other customers' data, or our systems, or bypass any access controls or limits.
  • Do not share access credentials outside your organisation or let unauthorised people use your access.
  • Do not use automated means to send form submissions, or send spam or bulk requests through the website forms.

05Honest presentation of results

Insider Magazin produces descriptive statistics: they summarise historical data and do not predict future outcomes. You must not:

  • present outputs of the Service as forecasts, predictions, guarantees or professional advice;
  • use the Service, its outputs or its name to market or support lottery, gambling or betting "prediction" products, or claims that past results can be used to anticipate draws, games or other chance events;
  • use the Service, its outputs or its name to promote financial or trading "signals" or claims of expected returns;
  • state or imply that we endorse your conclusions, products or services.

06Rate limits and fair use

To protect the Service, we apply technical limits, including basic rate limiting on the website forms. Requests that exceed these limits may be rejected. Usage limits for a customer deployment, if any, are set out in the order form. [Pending: Published usage or request limits for customer deployments]

07Enforcement

If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may take proportionate action, which can include contacting you to resolve the issue, removing or disabling access to content, temporarily suspending access, or terminating the contract in accordance with the Terms of Service. Where practicable, we will notify you before suspending access and give you an opportunity to remedy the issue. We may also report unlawful activity to the competent authorities.

08Reporting abuse

To report a suspected breach of this policy, including misuse of our name or of outputs presented as predictions, email support@insidermagazin.com with a description and any supporting links or screenshots. Security vulnerabilities should be reported as described on the Security page.
